| well not brand new, but new to us! My Megane needs replacing so on Saturday we are off to buy a new one, I wanted a Picasso, but Dan hates them, he wants something like a Saab 9-3 or Alfa Romeo 156 - that kind of shape and size Has anyone had one of those? What did you think? Any other ideas for cars in that size range (preferably lower insurance as those ones are high insurance ) |

| Ooo I couldnt recommend our car we have at min - a vectra (04 plate) it has loads of room in it, has a huge boot (not joking my hubbys mate got it in quite comfortably lying down and was room for anything else you fancied chucking in there. I love it to drive I find it sooo easy and its diesel so does great mpg for when we go on long trips to devon x |

| What about a Honda Civic? They're lovely cars, a little cheaper than the Saab 9-3 and a nicer car IMO. They also have the benifit of a HUGE boot. x |

| I've got a Honda Accord and can't fault it. The boot is huge and it's so nice to drive. The estate version is also quite nice. My oh gave the Honda to me earlier this year when he bought a new Lexus! He said he prefers the Honda. |

Lisa (Legs), I've got a Honda Civic and I love it!!!! It is so roomy (sp). The only thing is that it has one hell of a blind spot but you soon get used to it. If you need any more info on the Civic give me a shout xx |

My hubby has a Honda Jazz and he loves it!! And apparantly Honda have fantastic engines that rarely go wrong (my hubby is a review freak when he buys a new car and the Jazz has brilliant reviews), the boot is plenty big enough, we can get Libby's pushchair in and a shopping trolley full of shopping in it. I have to say I prefer my C1 but that is WAY too small for a family car xx |

I would never has chosen my car but oh handed it down to me when he bought a new car as I needed a big boot. But I'm truley smitten, it's by far the nicest car I've ever driven (I've driven some pretty decent cars). Mine is a 55 plate and getting on a bit but i never have any problems. |

| Nissan Primera also pretty good. Its honestly the worlds most beige car and totally non descript but comfy and drives nicely huge space in it and low on insurance - neil and i have 9 points between us and an accident claim and our insurance company only added on 70 pound to the cost we had been paying to insure our megane despite it being 1.8 not 1.4 |
