Hi ladies

Just a bit of a moan. As most of you will know i moved in with my OH near Glasgow. I grew up in East Lothian on the east coast of scotland. My OH's house is surrounded for miles by building upon building and i'm feeling very hemmed in.

I'm used to fields and sea views and beaches and greenery. Its a concrete jungle here.

I'm feeling very very extremely homesick and have a great urge to move back.

My OH doesn't understand as he is a townie. He will never move away from Glasgow.
What can i do????

How long have you been there?

I moved to Denmark from England in December and it took about 6 months for me to feel settled. Its is hard being away from family isnt it?

Skype has been my lifeline, think i'd have moved back by now if we hadn't had it!

Hope you feel more settled soon.

I've been here 15mths now and it's only been a couple of weeks i've been feeling like this but it's getting unbearable. x

Would your husband def not move? Have you descussed it with him?

We have talked about it and he said no he wouldn't move. His job is predominantly based around Glasgow. I don't know how to stop feeling this way?x

Have you been to any mother and toddler groups etc, i found i had to go out of my way more than at home to make friends.

I have a few friends and 1 best friend here. It's the area. I miss the fresh air and scenery so much. x
