How much can a toddler/baby remember?

I took Aimee into the doctors with me earlier as I had a midwife appt, and our old HV came in (she left when Aimee was about a year old).

Aimee took one look at her and totally freaked out, started crying, ran over to me and was screaming the place down!

I have never seen her in such a state.

Surely she cant remember her doing her jabs?

Oh yes! After a year..they just know hun! Must be the smell of the place. Animals do this too when you take them to the vet..they flip! xxx

Lottie doesn't forget ANYTHING!!! LOL
