Since moving to County Durham I havent met many mums from the area! So not really know alot of mums locally! So for anyone that lives in Durham please reply here...

Yes we have one where we are but I don't like to go to them, as there's far too many clicky groups! And no matter how many times I go and try to make conversations with other mums there like oh right yeh and then go back to what they were talking about x

thats a shame, it was like that for a few weeks when i started going but now i really enjoy it, netmums is also good round here, they arrange meetups right across the durham area.

Im a DH4 - i live in Houghton-le-Spring - off the A690. i thin sure start centres are good too. or can u sign up for any classes? i met alot of mums when i done baby massage x

small world my hubby works in houghton le spring, i met most of my new mum friends at baby massage too.

I know where you are Amy lol! We come onto the A690 from the A1 after we been to Newcastle when heading to KFC lol!

Ah cool. Is that at Rainton Meadows? We were meant to be moving there. Im sure npower actually took over our building. (I work for Northern Rock and the building was built for us before we had redudancies 3 years ago).

Yeah it is with surestart. Ive already done the first class. I was dubious about going as alfie is already weaned but i thought if anything i wud get some hints nd tips on making food etc. Im glad i did as at the end of the 3 week course u get a free hand blender, freezer boxes and weaning spoons!! its quite interesting too - i would recommend it!!
