I know this may sound daft, but try putting him to bed earlier???

Isla sleeps better at night if shes not overtired, if i put her to bed between 7-7.30pm shes really restless, and often cries out. If we put her to bed between 6-6.45pm then she tends to be great (and actually sleeps longer in the morning too!!)

I a big believer in 'sleep induces sleep'

I might be talking rubbish, but give it a try, it cant hurt!

i think ur right but if i put him to bed earlier he jst gets up earlier in the morning lol
discussed it with my hv and she thinks day time naps are the prob cos he shud be sleeping closer to 1hr 30mins - 2hrs thru the day where as we r lucky if he sleeps 20 mins!! she has recommended a book aswell

not sure how im gonna manage to enforce napping during the day but the book apparently gives tips so gonna get it and see what it says!
i took him out for the day yest up to my friends who lives bout 45 min drive away and he slept on way there and then again on way home and slept better last night he only woke the twice and settled quicker aswell
so it def cud be that but not sure how im gonna get him to sleep wen we r jst in house lol

I agree the lack of naps may be the issue - Im a big believer in sufficient day napping leading to solid night sleeps.

Try stuff to wear him out, so plenty of physical stuff in the day, then try to put him down for a nap when he is content i.e. full of food!
Fresh air will help too - so plenty of outdoors time in the day (yeh I know the weather is crappy now and its horrible to go out lol)

We had a similar thing with aimee and I read that we should put her to bed earlier. We did and it stopped straight away x
