Poor little Sambo! He has been walking round with shoes too small for him! He had on size 4 clarks (which i only bought a month ago) and i took him for measuring today and he was size 5 So i am £28 lighter but Sam can now feel his toes!!

am sure he wasn't too bad...and the fact that you bought him new ones disputes the bad mum thing

my SIL came for lumpy's 1st birthday last year with her 16month old squeezed into(get ready)....3-6month booties!!

That doesn't make you a bad mum hunni, at least you bought him some new ones....I bet theres people in this country who would rather have saved the money to go out on the pi$$ at the weekend rather than buy their child some new shoes.

aww blesd him thats okie u didnt know! size 5? thats big lol, brought soem size 5 for paige (ugg boots for the winter) n they are huge! x

thats not bad!!!! they always have growth in them so they probably werent pinching

His feet grow fast though! Izzy's first pair when she was 1 were 3, has been in 3.5 for ages - and is only now in 4s

Gracie not only went up a size but a width too she must have been in pain she is now 5g

Caitlin got her 1st shoes in August and was a 4G. I got her measured in Clarks Belfast 2wks ago and they said she was a 4.5 G (one foot was still 4G though). I didnt have the pennies for new shoes that day and said I would come back with OH later in week. Girl was nice enough but said she really needed a new pair & come back asap (even though I thought clarks had 1/2 size growing room...)

Anyway I felt so poor & guilty all week , took her to the Clarks shop in Lisburn were they agreed she was a 4.5 in one foot but then felt her in her original shoes and said she had plenty of room. In fact if I did get 4.5's they would drown her small foot. She told me to leave it a month.

Honestly he probably wasnt that cramped! My friends lil man started walking at 10mths, his first shoes were size 6 !!!! At 10 months! He really tall though His mummy 5ft 10 and daddy 6ft 8 !!!!!

I need to take Tay to get hers measured again. She hates having them measured tho

Connie is a size 5, I got her the most gorgeous boots ever from clarkes with a bird on the side of them -soooo cute! But I hadn't had her feet measured in AGES and she was wearing 4s, I felt bad xx

You ain't a bad mum! Frik..Maky doesn't even wear shoes! Not for a lack of tying on our parts..she just kicks em off and I spend more time hunting for them under car seats and everywhere else. Just put plush socks on her and call it good! My kid is a total chavy pleb in the making! xxx

haha jen, my two are the same...the amount of people that say 'hey love, your kid has lost his/her shoe' is amazing!

Her entire bedroom dresser is covered in an array of footwear that has never been worn! She just loves to be barefoot! That will change when winter hits..xxx

Aww thats just normal hun, Wow his feet have grown super quick!!
I had C's feet measured and he was 0.5 bigger than he was wearing, but i didn't have any money on me, I brought him a new pair the next day.
You'd be a bad mum if you didn't get his feet measured and just carried on letting him wear tiny shoes!

lol jen, olivers the same, i get out the car to take leo into school and when i get there realise olli has no shoes or socks on, people must think hes a poor niglected child

If you're a bad Mum then so am I. I took Amelia to be measured 6 weeks after the last time and she'd gone from a 4F to a 5E. Couldn't believe it. I knew she'd grown but wasn't expecting that! I'm hoping Amelia doesn't have huge feet like Dave. He's a 12 but I'm a 6.5 so I hope she's going to take after me. At the nursery I worked at the kiddie aged 18 months to 2 had shoe sizes between 4 and 7 so I think they're spot on x

Callum wont wear shoes oftern either he will wear his trainers by the time we get out the car ones always off and he hates wearing them and wont walk in them he loves bare feet tryin to get him in shoes b4 winter x

I o=got him his 1st shoes in june he was 3f i think he would hardly wear them next tried them in july they were miles too small i mean couldnt even get his foot even tinyest bit in the shoe lol so i dont think it will be long untill hes in a 5. He will be taken into clarks to be fitted again now he startin to walk tho xx
