Lewis goes to bed around 6.30 after bath and bottle. He goes to sleep with no problem. He would wake up for a feed anytime from 1am-4am then go back down till around 7. When he got ill we had to feed him more often in the night cause he wojld onlh take a few oz to keep his fluids up and geg him out of bed to change his nappy as he had the runs so that meant putting light on etc. Well hes alot better now drinking 5/6oz bottles and not had a dirty nappy at night for a few days but he is now waking several times a night. I try and shush anx pat him and feed him if that doesnt work but he only drank a few oz and didng drink all of his morning bottle which makes me think he doesnt need so much in thd night. I havd been feeding him at 10.30pm last few days but not made any diff. Do you think he is waking out of habit wanting attention? What should i do? Im so tired x

does he have a dummy hun? if so will he get back to sleep with that?

It does sound like it's just out of habit and his body clock has got a bit messed up, I think if he keeps waking up you should try and calm him and shush him back to sleep and if that doesn't work maybe a little cuddle and then try again and if not then tbh I would leave the room but just wait outside and see if he goes back off after a couple of minutes.

my lewis got into a habit of this after being sick, he went from sleeping until 7am to waking up to 4times a night...i was giving him a bottle but eventually i got fed up doing it as i knew he just wanted it out of habit so instead i started just giving him his dummy or offering him water....it took a couple of weeks before he decided water just wasn't worth waking for and went back to sleeping through
