Ok, I may sound like an overprotective mother here......

you may have seen my fb question, but I would love a bit more advice.

Isla has a really chesty cough after her cold, its the first cough she has ever had, and im not sure when 'to jump in' and when to leave alone.

It sounds really rattly when she coughs (which shes not doing a lot tbh, but when she does it sounds awful), and when she breathes I can hear rattling. She has no temp, and is eating/drinking fine, and running about still.

My OH said when its 'rattly' its breaking up and coming off..........I think hes bullshitting me to try and stop me stressing, or is he right?

What would you do??

Aw its horrible seeing em hacking isnt it hon, C is the same too. If she has no temp and is eating and playing well id let her be and let her body fight it for now. Can you see any of the phlegm she coughs up (hard i know cos she prob swallows it) but if its white or clear its cool its only yellow or green thats infected xxx

While ive got you I dont suppose you have any experience of medicines management on the wards do you? Ive got a pharmacy interview next week, and the title of presentation is about 'ward pharmacy & meds management'

Dont worry if you havent, Ive got a couple of ideas! But because ive not been in work properly for 2yrs with having babies, I was just wondering if there have been any recent legal/moral/practical changes??

Fraid not honey im a and e so we only see techs when they check our stock. I know most wards here have converted to PODS though so lot of techs down on daily basis dealing with that. Sorry cant help more
