Thats fab Amanda.....I so wish I had the balls to do something? I dont know ladies cope with any more that 2 cos I feel permanently dizzy, and a bloody big failure because I dont do anything 'good enough'..........

I dont cook proper meals, I dont play with my kids a lot, my house gets cleaned once and then the rest of th week it looks a tip,im never on top of my ironing/washing, and im not even back at work yet!!!!!!!!

Its bottles, naps, dinner, bottles, naps, dinner!

xxx

It does sound really good, and great that you are getting so much support.

I just want to say Amanda and Lisa that you are not alone in feeling overwhelmed, i have felt very up and down in my ability to cope over the last year, and for a time lost my confidence going out with both of my girls. Luckily for me we kept my older daughter in nursery 2 days a week as i was returning to work (and did in August), so this gave me a bit of breathing space to get things done, and calm down slightly! Although of course i felt hideously guilty about this. But anyway, my point was going to be Isla (my youngest) is now 13 months and things are so much easier, yes of course there are still hectic days but she is in such a similar routine to Immy that it is not twice as much 'work', and they do amuse each other and make each other giggle. That makes the ups and downs of the last year feel worth every second of angst Very Happy

Thanks hun. I know it will get better and i will be glad i had them close together. It helps that Harrison is such an easy boy to look after wheras i think Lewis is going to be the other way x

Yes i think that is where my shock came, Immy was such an easy baby, and Isla has been quite needy. That in addition to Immy becoming a tantrumming toddler was not a good combo! x x x

Have not heard of Homestart Amanda but it sounds like a really good idea and if it lets you get things done or even just have a nice relaxing shower knowing the two little men are being watched, it should do you good xx
