| Hey girlies i wonder if you can help me? We are having a bit of a nightmare at the minute with Sam. He is obsessed with Ben at the moment. Everytime he walks out of a room or out the door he breaks his heart and nothing will console him not even me. He even sat on the step of the shower cubicle while Ben got in the shower this morning!! Another example is we took him in our bed this morning for a cuddle and he was loving me, but then Ben got up and he was inconsolable. When Bens there he wont come to me at all and never cries for me but when Bens at work he is fine and happy and only cries when i walk out of the room! Its getting really bad to the point where hes holding onto Bens legs whilst walking round. Now Ben in his childish manly way think i am jealous that he prefers him to me but i think he has seperation anxiety. Anyone experienced this? |

| Awww, poor little guy. Im sorry, but I have no advice whatsoever. It does sound like he has it though. Hopefully it is just a phase that he will snap out of x |

| lewis went through a stage of this, i literally couldn't put him down as he'd be in pure hysterics and nothing would console him...one day he just up and stopped it does sounds like seperation anxiety and if as jo said, ben has been around more, then he's probably loving it and terrified his daddy will start going more often again i hope it's just a phase he gets out of soon xx |

| I agree with Jo hun, Thomas goes through stages like this with Paul if he has taken holidays from work. He is fine during the day with me but as soon as paul comes home he can't move for him. He has a little Thomas shadow at all times. I find it quite cute that he loves his daddy so much but it is heartbreaking to see him sat at the stair gate crying until paul comes down from his shower. He seems to know when Paul goes out of a morning that he can't go with him so will happily wave him off at the door but any other tme he leaves the house alone he goes into a complete meltdown.
I do think it is just a phase hun and probably made worse if Ben has been at home more recently.
