alfies christening cake has now disappeared (magincally -the fairies took it!! Shocked Shocked Shocked )

now, what is the best way to keep the stuff that decorated the top? i have his name wrote on little blocks and a little blue doggy and i want to keep them. i want to display them somehow? is there anyway i can like varnish them (sorry if i sound stoopid) so that I can put them on a shelf in Alfies room.

i kept the flowers off my wedding cake, i coated them in clear varnish and theyre still going strong 6 years later.

i would keep mine in my belly, but im sure clear varnish (possibly nail varnish??) does it?

I've got the photo off my 16th birthday cake and it's still perfect, I'd go with some clear nail varnish if you plan on keeping it forever
