| alfies christening cake has now disappeared (magincally -the fairies took it!! ) now, what is the best way to keep the stuff that decorated the top? i have his name wrote on little blocks and a little blue doggy and i want to keep them. i want to display them somehow? is there anyway i can like varnish them (sorry if i sound stoopid) so that I can put them on a shelf in Alfies room. x |

| i kept the flowers off my wedding cake, i coated them in clear varnish and theyre still going strong 6 years later. |

| I've got the photo off my 16th birthday cake and it's still perfect, I'd go with some clear nail varnish if you plan on keeping it forever |
