We sorted our mortgage out last month and got a new fixed deal with Nationwide. Didn't realise til we sorted it that we were going to get £300 cash back!!! Originally Simon wanted to save it for a holiday next year but I managed to pursuade him that Libby 'needs' clothes, I need maternity clothes and it seems silly scrimping on birthday/christmas presents when the money is sitting there

Sooooo the cheque has come today and I've just gone on the Next website and I want £80 worth just for Libby But to be fair because she never grows the clothes will last her ages (she's only just grown out of clothes I bought her for her 1st birthday)

Now need to go somewhere - probably Peacocks and get some bits for me

It probably sounds silly getting excited about only £300 but I haven't bought myself ANYTHING for about 16months as I just don't have the spare money from my wages after bills etc.

Eeee I'm so excited

I know how u feel we have nothing here other then ur normal stuff not 1 childrens shop for clothes only upstairs in tescos x we have to 20min drive for better shopping x Hope u manage to go somewhere xx
