| Has anybody every tried any other diets except the typical WW or Slimming World?
Ive just been looking on Tesco diets and thy recommend i try to Light Life or GI Diet. I can sign up for a 8 week plan for £29.99 but not sure whether it would be worth it.
Ive done WW and Slimming World and Slimming world worked best for me before but tbh since ive had Alfie im finding it really hard to get motivated but ive weighed myself this morning and have put on the weight i lost a few months ago (plus an extra couple of pounds) and im thinking its time i get my ass into gear for Xmas.

| I can see that my baby belly is finally shrinking slowly but surely I am not on a diet at all. I am finding that the less pressure I put on myself to lose weight the better I do And I realised how I can burn more calories just by doing the housework xxx I eat the right things now, had a chinese the other night but I just make sure I go for a long walk around town or take flick to the park and it will come off |

| Only thing that works for me is WW or I suppose slimming world might. I cant diet on my own. I need to meet every week to get weighed or else I just kid myself and end up scoffing things I shouldnt. Depends how motivated you are. have heard a few people talking about the tony something one from Boots, havent heard any reviews about it though... Good luck! |

| GIs good but I wouldn't bother paying for anything.. you can find all the info you need on the net.. its just about eating foods that make you feel fuller for longer and don't make your blood sugar levels go up (like all the bad stuff lol) It hink Emzandflick is right though don't put too much pressure on yourself just try to eat more healthily and cut out the bad stuff, do a bit more exercise but don't feel bad if you do eat something bad x |

| I have no idea whatsoever how to diet tbh - Im terrible at kidding myself. I need a diet buddy who is gonna shame me into losing weight. We should start a weigh in group on here and we all have to post our weight each week/fortnight (with pics as proof) and we can encourage each other xx |

Are you spying on me *looks around the room for hidden cameras* I'd also love to know who gave her a rep point for that abuse too Thats exactly the sort of thing I need though - I'd do well on fat club with a big muscly man screaming abuse at me whilst chasing me around a field xx |

| 1 x rep point for you hun for being honest and also encouraging my fat arse off the sofa In all seriousness though - I think I would really benefit from some encouragement. I also have at least 2 1/2 stone to lose before my wedding next september and I seem to be going backwards right now. I'm feeling quite miserable about it all (and the fact I'm going bald ) my confidence is at an all time low and I am a comfort eater very vicious circle! Off over to group chat to start a 'weigh in' thread - all welcome! xx |

| Lol thanks Kayleigh!
Guys I lost two and a half stone on ww after I had tommy, I did it in 6months so you've got plenty of time debs! Even no diet is good, just making one significant change and you will see results, so maybe a salad for lunch instead of a sandwich, and more veg on your plate than say rice or potatoes! Actually speaking of that if you actually measure your portions for a short time you'll more than likely see your eating too much, I didn't realise how big my portions were till I measured them!
If you don't do exercise try walking twice a week for 20-30 mins it's not a huge amount but you'll notice, riding a bike is excellent! Honestly I couldn't ride far at first but I kept at it (even in the rain lol) and now I can ride probably about 5-6 miles without any hassle and can do more if I wanna real work out!
I'll join u in your group!! xx |

| i know a lady that was 21stones, working out and still struggling with her weight...she tried lighter life and lost 11stone in a year!! she looks AMAZING!!! but because it's a 'fix' with no exercise and starvation amounts of calories she now has lots of baggy skin personally i got up to 178lbs(12st 10) after having my two, with working out at least 2-3times a week and watching what i eat i'm currently at a 21lbs weight loss...some times diet and exercise are all you need..and a hell of alot cheaper than lighter life! |
