How does the Reputation system work?

On the right of a post you will see this:
If you Like the post then you can press it and that increases the members reputation by 1 point

How do I get Points?

You get 1 point for every post and 3 points for every thread you start. There are 4 points to be had for starting a thread in Reviews, Blogs and Offers!

Points can also be earned in other ways, for example if we held a quiz the winner will be awarded extras! Or if someone went out of their way to recruit new members they will too :-)

So points show how active a member is, and reputation show how popular their posts are!

R u able to tell where u got the reputation point from?

um I think so but not like a report or anything - or the post it shows green if people have liked it
will see there is any other way

right, well you cant see who gave it to you - but on your profile the statistics tab is where the info is, like this:

Points

* Points : 2
* Average per post : 1

Reputation

* Reputation : 0
* Positive votes received : 0
* Negative votes received : 0
* Positive votes given : 1
* Negative votes given : 0

I'm sorry, i'm probably being thick or blind but i can't see where the + or - buttons are!!!
any help as i don't have them to the right of any messages!

Has the rep system been taken away?

Only temporarily - some phone users accidentally click the - as they scroll down - so negs were appearing in odd places

So I am looking (when I have time ) into how to fix it
