If clothes that should go on a 40 degree wash get put on a 60 degree... Will they be ruined?

My stupid bloody oh got himself involved in my washing while I went back to bed and it was all of my work clothes!!!

they should be fine. dont put delicates on a 60c. Men eh??? They should stay clear of washing machines x

No it shuld be fine hun, I've often put things on at 60 degrees - especially bedding etc. (sometimes don't think 40 is good enough) xx
