Walking & Toddler Reins _
PostSubject: Walking & Toddler Reins   Walking & Toddler Reins EmptySun Aug 22, 2010 6:07 pm

I need to get Aimee something that will keep her safe, but also give her the feeling that she has a little bit of freedom when we are out.

I have tried her with reins and she just throws herself on the floor and wont have a bar of it.

I have seen those little rucksac things that they do along with reins, which seem like a good idea.

Is anybody else aware of any good alternatives?

Thanks

x

hi laura, i am not sure of alternatives but i do have a 'littlelife' backpack which Lilly loves (its a ladybird) and it has a clip with a long handle rein, its good aswell as it fits a few bits in it too (small drink and her toy of choice) but i do find it excellent!
hope you find something to suit you and amiee xxxx

I have seen LOs out and about with a wrist strap on and the parent wears the other end of the strap.

Laura - I have one of those wrist straps given to me to try but not using it - happy to post it to you to have if you want to try it. xx

It's the mothercare one, excellent cond. - we use simple Lindam reins atm. which work fine, so can't see us taking to this.

Walking & Toddler Reins Little-Life-Rucksack-LittleLife-Toddler-Animal-Daysack-Cow
Too cute, and they have a little hood too Laughing

I think she may be better with the rucksack type ones as it gives them a sense of purpose when they can put their own bits and bobs in Wink
