Figured i wouldnt get away totally scott free. Put c to bed 30 minutes ago and she has been screaming since. Shes got bedtime bunny, sponge bob and patrick but ive been up twice now to play her mobile and both times shes stood at the end of her cot crying. Problem is everytime i go in it makes her worse, i may have to switch her disney music on and leave her to it for a wee while

Hearing what other people go through makes me glad matthew stopped using his when he had virus the other week and we've never given it back since, he's not old enough to miss it and it really sounds like the older the child the harder the withdrawal!

LMAO..I forgot to mention another tactic...this may be traumatizing tho. Take the dummie and rub it in something disgusting in front of them...like the litter box or dog poo. Make gagging noises and act like you are going to hurl. Then again..with C..this may backfire as she would probably just shake it off..and put it in her mouth.

Well i went up to her 3 times in 30 mins but each time it just ramped the screaming back up to full blown levels. In the end i took her disney music up to play to her and she was out in 10 mins bless her. Thank frick for disney

WHat a relief!

Izzy cant seem to get enough sleep right now, she slept 8-10 last night, then an hour at lunch, then she wanted to go to bed at 4, but she sang, hummed and played in her cot for 2 hours, eventually dropped off and woke at 7.30, had some a couple of boiled egss , then milk and in bed by 8.15
