that used to drive you crazy before you had a baby???

i find myself doing the following:

making people look at photos even though elijah is in the actual room

stopping mid-sentence to talk to/respond to/gaze at my baby

go on and on and on and on about how clever he is (but he is!)

talk loads about poos and wees and sicks

talk loud nonsense at him in the pram as we walk along

i do however still endeavour not to run people off the pavement (yet) but all of those things used to really aggravate me, im sure there are more though, so what do you find yourself doing??? Very Happy

All of the above hun, plus I find myself cooing and chatting nonsense to other peoples kids ass well as my own whereas before I would have politely shooed them away with a fake smile. I'm still not a fan of random children but friends (Inc. BANDA) and family kids I like now Razz

i find my self going bonkers if any one rings the door bell past 8pm or in the house phone rings... the eye twitches... dontchya know we have kids in bed, shurrup and bugger off!! lol

I turned a blind eye today whilst ellie trashed the display of brochures in the travel agents. Not because I couldn't be bothered but because she was really enjoying herself! Sorry I know that's bad!

Oooh and I talk to the ducks now, even when ellie is asleep!

Oh...i forgot my favourite - calling everyone 'uncle so and so...aunty so and so...' i used to really hate being called aunty when i was clearly not related to their baby!

- everytime i update my Facebook status it is all about Alfie
- tell every1 how he is the cutest baby ever
- make him roll over everytime sum1 new comes into the house
- take pictures of him all day every day!

Lol that one ive stuck to cos i really dont like it still. Aside from her real aunties and uncles she has a couple of extremely close friends i call auntie but i put a stop to it if anyone else does it with people i dont want it used with

mine is litrally all of the above and laura i go ballisic at anyone calling after 8 and between 1 and 3pm for nap time they have learnt to text me first now x

I do most of the above! Apart from the Auntie/Uncle thing! The only person I call Auntie who isn't an Auntie is my best mate, who is also the boys god mum!

The other thing I do which I said I would never do is "sound like my mum!" And I do do it now!! It's scary!
