I got a 20% off voucher when you spend £25+ too, not sure if it's a personal code or one that anyone can use? xx

If you read the very small faint print on the back of the voucher it is only valid on full price items (at least it did on the voucher we got in the post).

We got the "build-it" starter set and bits-and-bobs set at the weekend, both on half price (total of 25 quid). It looks like plastic mecano - nuts and bolts etc, says from age 3 so maybe we're a little premature but it looked fun.

cheeky beggars - i think you're right Ros - it says cannot be used - yaddah yaddah - "on reduced price items" OR "2 for £10 / 2 for £20" Rolling Eyes

Tbh I always find ELC more expensive! And usually look there for ideas then browse amazon instead!

I'm holding out for our local NCT toy sale, at his age he doesn't mind 2nd hand plastic, and if there aren't lots of parts you can easily see if what you're buying is in usable condition. Last year I got one of those buggy drivers for 6 quid for example. In the end I was limited by what I could carry, having picked up a ride-on, ballpit balls, etc, and spent about 35 quid. This time I'll be 8 months pregnant but I've volunteered to help at the sale so I get to presale shop the night before.

I also think ELC is quite pricey - halfprice offers are quite rare though, usually it is about 20% off at best which isn't generally enough to tempt me.
