Am on a bit of a downer...

We were meant to go to MIL and FIL's yesterday so OH could fix their computer. So we called them yesterday morning and they said that it was fixed now and they were going out for the day instead. Was talking to MIL for about 5 mins if that before she said bye. Usually you can't get her off the phone. She didn't ask about Flick either like usual.
There's a big family meal booked for Saturday and last weekend MIL and FIL were up for it. Called them tonight to see what they wanted to do. FIL answered and said she's not home try another time and put the phone down If I call and MIL isn't there FIL is usually a little chatty.
They both seem very very off with me atm - OH not talked to them because they can't put the phone down fast enough atm. I can tell they are off with me because they haven't asked about Flick at all, MIL has left no messages on FB for Flick like she usually does either. I asked MIL yesterday if she wanted to do something with me and Flick in the week and she said she's too busy! She works from 5pm til 8pm and usually jumps at the chance to spend time with her only grandchild.
I can't think of anything that either me or OH has said or done that would upset them either.
Called MIL about an hour ago and FIL obv hasn't told her I called or she doesn't want to call back and speak to me

I don't know what to do.

hun, maybe its not you and something going on with them, id get oh to call and see if anything is wrong.

Ah hun it's probably nothing, I know things like that make you feel paranoid though. I'd just give them some time and don't worry because you haven't done anything wrong xxx

Could you send her a text? Just to ask if they're ok? Say that you're feeling a little paranoid that maybe you've upset them in someway and would hate for that to be the case as you all love them so much? x

oh no stuff like this would really worry and bother me too !!

i would have to ring and ask if i had upset them -not too sure if oh parents would take to that well but i woudl just have too to stop my wee head melting and worrying about it xxx

MIL is on FB now so I sent her a message on there saying

I hope everything is ok and that I haven't done anything to upset you x

MIL and FIL can just about answer a mobile phone so a text would be taking it a bit far

I'm sure you haven't done anything wrong hun. It is prob something going on with them and nothing to do with you.

They are going away at the weekend so things can't be that bad xxx
OH said that it is their loss if they don't talk to us again but thats not the point.

I did write on MIL wall the other day 'Where are you woman?' put a wink after it so not mean at all x When she emailed me this morning she put no kisses on her message like usual either and again not asked about Flick. They have been so good to her and I know how much they love her x

Sounds really odd hun. I think you should get your oh to call them to see what he can find out x
