Ok..I am starting to get pissed off. We have been getting phone calls recently from some of the people we deal with as far as payments. Shayne and I are always on time and ahead of the game. I answered the phone this morning with someone asking for Shayne. I said he's not here, but I am his wife, how can I help you. They said they were from Master card, and wanted to know if Shayne was going to make a payment. I asked...is he behind? She said..no..he isn't..this is just a courtesy phone call to remind him. I asked(sarcastically) do all your customers get this extra special TLC? I told her not to call here again, unless there was a real issue, we get the paper bill quite on time and like it that way. Do not disturb my home with ridiculous calls! Is there a reason why bill collectors are becoming annoying? I don't think we need reminders as we are never late! A friend of mine here said she noticed a few odd phone calls the past month too. Is this happening to anyone else?

not so much bill collectors but i am gettin about 10 calls a day from ppl offering me loans telling me they can get me money back on previous loans ive had (ive never had a loan) or companies trying to give me better deals its driving us up the wall i even considered gettin rid of home phone as its gettin to be the only calls we recieve

LOL! My one friend here is bombarded by them. I'm wondering if this may be initially to up his credit limit..and for that we say NO! We pay cash or nothing now...I hate loans and credit cards!

we got a credit card but only because i found out if you only pay cash now it ruins your credit rating as lenders see it that you cant be trusted and have to save and save for it

Ive had people ringing up saying my PC (dont even have one ) is broken would i like to pay for advise on how to fix it? Ummm let me think about that...f*ck off
My advise is never to go with Capital one as your never get a person to talk to who speaks english, drives me mad you cant possible have a conversation with them! (not in a racists way, i literally mean the only english the know is the lines they are taught to repeat!)

I was worried that they are gonna start calling all the time..due to the bank foreclosures and bankrupt claims that are running rampant in Canada. Shayne figures thats what is happening..they call their clients hoping to get paid.
