I took all my watches for new batteries today but they wouldn't do 2 of them cos they have stones on the front and he said they also need some special tool to close the watch back up - if he tried he said he might break the glass
He suggested I send them back to Guess....which is just daft I only want new batteries!

Does anyone know if jewellers will do battery replacement on watches that need this special device - its something to do with resealing them?

Otherwise has anyone used The Watch Lab - cos theres one in Chester http://thewatchlab.co.uk/why-reseal-a-watch/ but me think they will cost a bomb!

Sorry hun, didnt want to R&R but havent a clue, the only experience i have is h samuel who gouged a massive scratch down the back of adams to get in it and still failed sending it back knackered!

right! well I'll avoid them then - they clearly didn't have the right tools to open it so why did they even try?! I'd be fuming if my watches got ruined!
