| What's your opinion ? I'm for it , i think as long as you can provide a stable loving environment for a child, sexual orientation isn't an issue. |

| yes im for it as well. As long as it is a stable and loving relationship/home. Some people think "but they will get bullied at school", well i was picked on because i wore glasses, some kids are picked on because they have ginger hair or come from run down council estates. Kids will be kids. I would much rather see a neglected or abused child be placed with gay parents in a loving home than stay with abusive "straight" dare i say normal parents in a shit hole x |

| I think gay couples do make great parents as a couple I have friends who are gay and are great parents. ( both divorced and all their kids live with their daddies).
But!!!! I struggling to say what I mean. But I do think it's good if children have both male and femail influences in their lives when growing up! I know this often doesn't happen anyway due to divorce etc.

| I have mixed feelings on this one really, I mean for example I know people who have a heterosexual relationship to hide the fact that they are in fact gay, they get married and have children then decide to 'come out'. In these circumstances I think it's VERY unfair on the children and I've seen for myself how it affects them. On the other hand, there is a lesbian couple who live down our old road and they foster and adopt children, these children came from awful backgrounds - neglect/abuse etc. and they have given them a loving stable home and are fantastic parents (and a lovely couple). So it's not a right or wrong thing for me, I think it depends on circumstances. x |

Shayne has a cousin who was married, and had a daughter and decided to become a woman...and is involved with another woman. This has totally upset the family as no one saw it coming..especially the daughter who from what I have last heard has nothing to do with her dad(mom..err..whatever) After Randy..now Brandy did this..their dad within months passed away from a massive heart attack. Looking back on previous photo albums, its hard to imagine Randy(bearded manly biker type) becoming a woman. As far as gay couples adopting..as you said above..no issues with that whatsoever! Loving a child is not sexually oriented at all! xxx |

| There are a lot of gay couples out there who can provide loving stable homes for their children and a lot of straight people who really should be sterilised so I don't think sexual orientation has any bearing on whether a person makes a good parent. That said I think gay parents have a harder job to do because they are different to the norm and need to help their children to understand, protect them from bigotted idiots and provide the balance having masculine and feminine influences for the child where this may not be their natural way of being. |

| I think if it means the child has a happier life with loving people to guide them through life then bring it on! Gay couples can give just as much love as hetrosexual couples |

| I have just been watching something about this on the sunday morning debate show apparently a study has been done to say that children from lesbian couples do better at school than other children(contraversial-discuss), i dont have any issues with gay/lesbian parents and in alot of cases they go through so much to actually have a child that you cant help but realise just how 'wanted' they are. |

| I totally agree with gay adoption. Gay people can provide a child with as much love and stability as a straight couple! I am also all for gay marriage. I have nothing against gay people and it is not illegal to be gay. Marriage is just a commitment of love and it should be allowed for everyone. |
