When did you convert your cot bed into a toddler bed, or buy a toddler bed for you little one?? The only reason I ask is I think its too early to convert Harrys as he's only just turned one, BUT he's started climbing out of his cot and falling out and its on the lowest setting and I don;t know what to do, my OH says its better him falling out a toddler bed than from the top of a cot, which kind of makes sense but I doubt Harry would stay in bed if it didn't have bars keeping him in LOL xx

We've just put Imogen in a toddler bed cause she was starting to climb out the cot. It feels too early but she's happy in her bed and she hasn't fallen out.. although she's climbed out a lot Laughing It's lovely in the morning too as she just gets out and walks to our room and gets in our bed rather than crying till we go get her

Izzy is going in hers as soon as we get her new room finished (nursery is too small for a bed)

If it had been ready though she was going to be 18 months

I didn't want to put her in it until she could walk and climb back into the bed, but had she ever fallen I would have moved her sooner

I think you should give it a go, I agree falling from a cot is worse - hopefully he will take to the bed and stay there!

Aimee went in hers at about 18 months or so.

She did keep getting out of it (still does), but we shut her door and she soon realises that there is nothing fun to do (we take her toys away from her room at night) so she just gets back in x
