Thought we would have a day out today! Pfft wish i hadnt bothered!

We went to Mother Shiptons Cave in Knaresbrough. It was actually really good and we all made a wish in the petrified well (its actually amazing to see the water turning teddies etc to stone). We went into the cave and had a really lovely walk around the water.

BUT then it started pissing it down. I mean really pissing it down and there was no shelter!!!!!!!!!!! The pushchair had an actual puddle in it so Sam had to be carried, our hair was plastered to our head, our clothes were literally dripping!!! I have never been so wet in my life!! We all were.

So i ended up driving and hour home wringing wet and all the kids were naked apart from their underware!!! Course i had to have the heating on to keep them warm which meant i was itching like a biatch all the way home!!!!!!!

good job it was a good day before that!

Jen its great. Theres load of play are space, like adventure playgrounds etc. Not sure AbChar would appreciate the wishing well and cave at their ages but its a lovely walk (WHEN IT NOT TEEMING BUCKETS)
