| Anyone a left hander or got left handed kids?
Archie is struggling with i writing being a left hander. He can spell loads of words and can read quite well and is in front of most of the kids at school.
But i am worried he is struggling with writing. He lapses in to mirror writing which i know is normal. Ben says i am worrying over nothing as hes only 4. xx |

| Left handers ROCK We are all lefties in our house.... Wouldnt waste money on special pens... always sit to the left of a desk, esp when he starts school. Ensure teacher does it!! my eldest has just finished yr5 and i asked the teacher why he writing was so crap ?? she didnt know. I mentioned he looked like he'd been squashed - I then mentions left handidness and asked does he sit to the right of a right hander - - - ta daa elbows at dawn. Anywhere he sits school desk, dinner table give him left side room, make teacher aware several times till its drummed in.. my son has been at this school since yr1.. I now make a point of making a large very clear note on their homework books.. Sorry went on a bit there |

| Eh?? I don't know what you mean push instead of pull..... It comes naturally to him, I've always wanted to learn to knit, but no-one can teach me cos all my family are them funny right handed folk He will get it, the same as a right handed 4 yr old would... You can only encourage him but he'll find his comfort zone honest |

| Matt is a "south paw" as well! Runs in all the males on the Bowers side of the family for some reason. Just to let you know that Lefties use both sides of their brains and are usually more creative that right handed people. They usually excel in the arts - music, literature, painting and drawing. They do make specialized pens/pencils as well as several other items for those that are left handed. xxx |
