ARRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

I am so pissed off with her.! last night we went round to give her an invite to JJ party.
(2 1/2 yrs) lily james neicee was there and her and jj were playing in the dining room with all the toys and lily kept taking toys of him so he smacked her she kept crying i told them both off.

MIL kept going on and on about taking JJ to mums and tots etc as he needs to socialize with other kids.. i said i can get there i just cant get back as i am so tired and it a steep hill so it makes it worse.

i take him to soft play and swimming when james can take me as jj dont like buses lol

she turned round and said they dont sit and play ther run around its more one to one.

( she has worked with kids for 15yrs maybe more she now a full time childminder)

she done my fooking heading telling me how to bring him up i have brought him up how i want him to be and for a first time mum and all the shit i have been through i think i have done very very well... she kept going on and on about it!!
he does need to be round children more but that be after xmas now!!

It sounds like if it wasn't that she was commenting on... it would be what he was wearing... or what he was eating... or what things he has learnt / should be learning Rolling Eyes

Don't let her comments change what you know - all it's done is remind you of what you already have in mind. You already do what suits you and your little family best so continue with that; as and when things change it will be on your own terms and in your own time! Smile x

I really think that parents (grandparents) need to keep their nose out when it comes to telling us how to bring up our children.

Other then the odd incident (Centerparcs, lol!) and a couple of others, our parents have kept their noses out, and if they dont, I am normally straightforward in telling them to.

Just ignore her hun, you have had a really rough few months so its no wonder you havent been taking him to childrens classes.
