| Flick usually goes to bed around 7pm but always wakes up and cries to get up before 6.30am. Any tips on how to get her to sleep a bit longer? OH is up at 6 every morning. We have tried being quiet at this time but it doesn't work I'm thinking that if she sleeps later she won't have to have 2 naps a day anymore xxx |

| Caitlin doesnt have a strict routine but we usually dont put her to bed until 8pm (she talks to herself and prob asleep about 820pm) and then she will sleep until 730/8am (fingers crossed!) 11 hrs is a pretty average nights sleep for a 1 year old so if you want her to sleep later you may have to consider putting her to bed later. Nap wise, Caitlin normally only has one nap a day. She takes 90mins or so between 11-1. Sometimes if she very tired she may take 15 min at around 430pm but I try not to let her. x |

| I t probably wouldn't make any difference as its still dark at that time lol, but we have a blackout blind so she isnt woken by the sun
I can't see her sleeping a longer stretch as 11.5 hours is a good kip - so maybe put her to bed later? Izzy goes at 8pm, and she wakes at 7.30 but goes back to sleep for an hour after checking all her bears etc and all present and correct! |

| At that age Seb was also going to bed around 8pm - bedtime moved to 7-7:30pm around 18 months, though it varies depending on how tired he looks. Nursery certainly wears him out, he doesn't nap that well there (often only 45 min).
If we're getting up at 6:20am then I count myself lucky if he sleeps until 7am so that I can have a shower and breakfast before sorting him out. If we're not getting up then he usually lasts in the cot until at least 7am, sometimes 8am - it is very variable, one day had to wake him at 9am though there was no good reason why he should have been that tired. |

| Cant help you there as ive got another one who thinks lieing in bed later than 6-630 is for wimps. She only has 1 nap a day and goes at 730 so i may have to start putting her up at 8 soon before i actually fall asleep into my food one day. Once the clocks go back im going up to 8 anyway cos theres no damn way im getting up at 5 |

| I've noticed that no matter what time Charlie goes to bed he will always wake at the same time. ATM he goes to bed at 6:30, wakes for a bottle at 6-6:30am and goes back to sleep till around 8. He has been changing this last week from 2naps to 1, The last few days he's been falling asleep between 12-1 and sleeps anywhere from 1-3 hours!
I'm hoping the time change doesn't confuse him too much! |

| Oliver went through a stage of this and we moved his bedtime from 7-7.30pm to 7.45-8pm, and although it did take a while for him to get into the swing of it he does sleep till 8pm most mornings. Also, try leaving a drink next to her bed, I found Moo was waking and not going back to sleep, but after leaving some juice next to his bed..he wakes for a drink then back off for another hour or so |
