| Is it just me, or does anybody else hate having their hair done? I am getting mine done this afternoon (normally have my highlights done every 9 weeks or so) and I cant stand sitting there for 2 hours! x |

| I don't mind it, it's a chance for me to switch off and unwind, I do hate the small talk though, I'd much prefer them just to get on with cutting it and not talk to me, I'm such a miserable cow |

| I neeeeed a hair cut! Any takers?! Chop off about 6 inch worth??! Can't be doing with hairdressers either, esp. as I'll have to explain why I don't want a wash&dry (painful sink position!) then have to be awkward and ask for it thinning out at the ends as it's really thick. Last one I went to "thinned" it from ear level... if I wanted layers I'd have said |

| Im trying to make myself look forward to having a couple of hours peace, but its not working. My appt is at 1pm so I might go and get some lunch first (I finish work in 5 mins) and then go. Susan... I totally agree! My hairdresser is a fortune! (well, I think it is). I pay £70 for a full head of highlights and £55 for a half head. x |

| I don't particularly like it either. I'm really bad at small talk so hate that. I tend to go to the trainees cause i'm proper tight (£50 for full head of highlights and £12 for cut rather than £115 for both) and they tend to be younger girls so i find it easier to talk to them. My mum and her friend go to the hairdressers every other week and are like best friends with the women in salon, i don't think i could ever be like that. |

I go to Trends at Kingsley. Their website was out of date when I booked my first appt so the prices were, and still are, wrong. But they did a great job that I keep going back x |

| I hate it - they always cut too much off even when I stated exactly where I want it, I can't be arsed talking about nothing for an hour, I hate it if I have to wait, I hate that the water dribbles on my forehead, I hate the black things they make you wear and the harsh lighting that makes me look dead, and I hate the way they dry it so it is flat against my head, I hate them straightening it cos they never take care round your ears, I hate the way they catch the top of your ear with the *$%£ comb
Sorry but I have been to very expensive, cheap, walk in, appointments, man woman, ...and they are all guilty of at least one of these sins which really bugs me! |

| I do enjoy having mine done, but they always keep me waiting which is frustrating! Does everyone tip? And how much? I do usually, £2-3, but my hairdresser is seriously loaded so not really sure why i bother! LOL! x x x |

| i've never tipped, my appointments usually cost £90 so i feel i've spent enough money! and i've never had the problems you mentioned Lisa, my hairdresser is fab! just a shame i'm not allowed to keep it up anymore luckily i'm growing my hair so i don't need it cut but i'll just have to dye it myself from now on! |
