I wasnt sure last night if I have got a touch of a UTI, as it stung a little bit when I went to the loo, got my hubby to buy me some cranberry juice and then all was fine again this morning. But this afternoon im not sure again....ive rung the docs to see if someone could check my urine without making an appointment and she said they usually do a telephone consultation and then decide whether they want me to bring a sample in.

She will ring me after 11 in the morning, am I ok to wait until then...or should I get it tested asap?? xx

Hiya hun, I had the exact same thing a few weeks ago (I did post on here about it), I did get checked out and luckily all was fine. It is best to get checked just to make sure and tomorrow is abolsutely fine.

I did wonder how they would do a telephone consult when they will need to test your urine!! But if they will get you to come in with a sample then that makes more sense!

Waiting til tommorrow is fine but make sure they check your pee as UTI can cause probs in preg i think depending on the bug. Its not really a hardship for them to stick a dipstick in a bottle of piss is it

Personally next time I'm getting some dipsticks myself, 11.99 for 100 on ebay! I think it's worth it for my own piece of mind x

Actually nope you are right thats prob a good price now ive been and searched. You can get 50 for 6 quid odd i think if you need to save a fiver cos once every few days from sorta 18 weeks is plenty to check.
