| I had a phone call from my GP earlier and I asked about heartburn and she has written me a perscription for gaviscon as I am drinking so much of it at the moment. I feel a little bad about using my exemption (sp) card to get gaviscon for free when you can buy it in the shops and not for things you can't by in the shops but not as bad as heartburn makes me feel |

| It got me at 3am this morning! I was not a happy bunny at all! I can only take the tablet form of Gaviscon as I would throw up if I had to drink it. I had a lot of orange juice yesterday, which I know triggered mine. x |

| I had it so bad when i was pg, couldnt sleep right for months cause of it. All I can say is ranitidine!!! Fab! I got it on prescription (I think you can get a lower dose form in tesco/boots), take 1 tablet in morning and 1 tablet at night. Absolutely brilliant, gaviscon is crap in comparison Hope you ladies feel better soon! x |

| I wudnt feel bad, ive got it on script as its a ridiculous amount per bottle and when you go through say 3 bottles a week it adds up |

| Don't feel bad for getting it on prescription, it's something you need it's not like your drinking it for fun!
I only had eartburn twice in my whole pregnancy thankfully but it was the first time i'd ever got it and I seriously thought I was dying lol |

| awww i remember that well in the end i was having gaviscon advance by the bottlefull - the only way it worked for me was to take a decent mouthful on the hour every hour regardless of wether i had heartburn or not - it works then and only bothers you at night cos you can't do that all night |
