I was meant to go see Tylers doctor today for his immunisation. However, the doctors is near to my work which means I have to drive 30 mins home to get Tyler then 30 mins back to the doctors wait there for about 30-45 mins till doctor is free and then 30 mins back home.

all in all it takes me about 2 horus to go from work to the doctors for Tyler. this is ridiculous and so we decided to chagne doctor to one thats up the road from me (literally 5 mins drive)

I told my doctor this today and asked for Tylers medical book (its the same as the "red book" in UK with all his measurements weights and what jabs he's had (she's never completed it!!)

she went mad at me (she doesn't speak great english either so that made it a bit harder) but she hung up on me! I got my Greek speaking friend to ring her to try and explain and she flipped out saying if I wasn't happy with the service I should say and nto make up excuses etc etc. and then she hung up on my friend too!!!

I'm scared to go see her to get his medical book now

that is no way for a doctor to speak to a patient ,, can you make a complaint at all ,,, i would deffo be leaving the practice ,,, cowwbag she is ! x x

Terri I couldn't believe it! She's never given us his medical book... she didnt have on for him for about 4 months as she never got them from the hospital (she is a pediatrician linked to one of the private hospitals so you'd expect her tro have a big stock of them!) and evr since she got it shes never filled it in! She said it will be ready tomorrow but Im not sure

I hope she fills it in because he's half way through his jabs and I dont want them giving him the wrong things

Omg thats really bad I would of changed doc sooner! Can u not just take him to the hosp for his jabs (for free)? We did in the end, our pediatrician was rubbish and we were paying out stupid amounts for rubbish advise!
When we got back the HVs were really confused with all the jabs Tayla had had out their, but they rung the department of health (i think) who have just updated their data and has a list of what babies have in every country x

well apart from not giving us his book she's been really good... sort of lol I mean he's never been ill so never put her to the test apart from when he got ill recently and we just popped him up the road. Im just getting busier and busier at work and it's just not convenient to take a day off for a doctor visit!

I think his jabs are mostly consisten with the UK... except he has more of them i.e he's meant to have chicken pox today and he had that erm... rotavirus one too. everything else is the same (I hope!?)
