...used a Pound shop/ poundland pregnancy test? Do they work??

The preg symptoms have come back threefold today and I'm really confused, the Dr said it was a Chem preg and her test came back neg but that was 3 weeks ago (I think) I would've been 11 weeks preg Saturday. Can I still get preg even if I've not had a bleed? Or could I have not been as far gone as we thought when she done the test? OMG! I'm so confused

I'm going to take a walk into town in a bit and buy one (if people say they work and are not all duds), I'm fully expecting a BFN but I've got all these symptoms. Extremly tired, feel sick every morning and after I've eaten, headachey, my tums a bit bloated and I can't lay on it and I'm a bit snappy. and I've been hungrier than normal too. xXx

I havent used one hun, but I have heard that they do work.

I dont know hun, didnt want to read and run. Have you not had a bleed at all in the last 11 weeks? I would guess you could get pg but thats a total guess.

As for cheappies, I got a few on ebay and got accurate BFNs (was only using to double check as im on mini pill and imagine im pg reguarly) Not sure about accurate positives.

Your symptoms sound like pg, but I understand chemical pg can trick you like that. x

That's what I was thinking, it could be the hormones playing tricks on me hence why I can't justify spending a tenner on a preg test just for a BFN clarification. The Dr said my next period would be heavier than normal but that is normal for someone who's had a chem preg but surely I would've had a bleed by now? My last period was 11 weeks and 2 days ago. She did say the pain was from a cyst and the hormones from that can affect your cycle, something just doesn't feel right inside (a gut instinct mayne?) and I can't get in to see her. I'm going to see if I can see the duty Dr (they might say oh it's not an emergency so no you can't)

Either result would be ok. If it is a BFN then I know it's just the hormones etc and if it is a BFP then we'll be super happy but also confused as to why it was a pos at 1st then a neg then another neg 3 weeks ago and dating the baby etc...
