Well last night kept C up til 8pm then put her to bed with white noise on and door shut. Went to bed at 2230 and on way rubbed some gel on her gums and switched noise off. She whinged at 0430 but fell asleep again after a min but i was then awake cos headache had gotten worse overnight. She lasted til 0615 then wanted her milk so an improvement on last few weeks.

OH woke up at 0630 while she was singing away to herself after her milk and first thing he said to me was 'you can shut every door in the house its not going to keep her asleep'

Seriously ready to punch him. Ive been off sick for 3 weeks now. While ive been off ive been aware he gets up and drives for a living every day so for weeks ive been getting up to C in the night so he can sleep for work. Im exhausted, im having headaches every day, i feel like shit and the first thing he does before he even says good morning to me is have a pop about how im wrong ab out something. At least im trying to get her to sleep. If hes so full of f***ing good ideas I'll go sleep on the sofa and he can f***ing get up to her, see how all his good ideas pan out and how he feels after a few nights of 4am wake up calls.

I agree that men think we have it easy.
OH goes to work and when he comes home and I dare to mention that I'm knackered or want some help with dinner he starts ranting about how easy I have it!!!

Literally, if he asks what she should have for dinner don't answer him, and if he asks what time she should go down for a nap - again don't answer him, if she gets grumpy tell him it's because HE didn't do something right - we'll see what he says then!!!! x

Awww hun. What a fecktard! I can't believe how little he does for you, knowing the hard time you are having carrying HIS baby. How can you even try to get better if you are being pulled in every direction but loose? You need a break, and need to get your BP lvls down. C has been ill and teething for awhile and not sleeping well. I am going to fly over there and dump fish sauce in his truck too! Thinking of you darlin and sending you huge huge hugs!! xxxx

Well he rang this afternoon and was suitably apologetic. He said he hadnt meant it how it sounded (he knew i was mad about it cos i ripped him a new one before he left for work and he had left in a big huff).

He said all he had meant was she is clearly an early riser and no matter what we try she seems to get up at 6 anyway so maybe thats just her body clock as he is an early riser but he had obviously said it wrong and he was sorry. He also said he thought i was amazing for getting up the last few weeks every night so he could sleep for work and he really appreciated me doing all that and keeping the house nice so he could come in and have a nice evening with his girls.

I said that was fine and calmed down but my argument had been that the last few days when she had been getting up at 5 she hadnt been ready for it and had been tired and grumpy and by shutting the door at least she had slept to her proper waking time (ive come to accept 6am starts these days) so we said we'd carry on doing that for now as she is much happier today and less grumpy. I also said that whilst id been doing it cos he was at work he has all of next week off and i need a night off cos i think the lack of sleep is not helping my headaches or my blood pressure/pulse which is still spiking loads and im due back at docs monday to find out if im allowed back to work or not. Thanks for the offers of beatings though, nice to know i can threaten him with the offer of violence from lots of women

Mario hun he sounds like he deserves a good slap around the chops with the riot fish. I would go sleep on the sofa with earplugs in and let him see how "easy" it is. Sending you big hugs hun xx
