the back wall and the front wall will have a silver ish sort of wall paper with black flowers. there is a window on the front wall to the right hand side wall. so i've chosen black curtains to go on there. as the window is so big.

we are having oak floors (laminate). i just need to decided what colour sofas to get in the new year.

Pmsl I think with a little one your best having as dark a sofa as possible

wallpaper is lush kelly and yeah a red /aubergine sofa would look fabby ,,,, infact you could pretty much have your pick of colour to go in with that x x

i wouldnt go for cream they turn grey after a bit, but might still match (siys the blonde who brought first one that i liked that was available, with 3 weeks to xmas)

no def wont be cream sofas. we were going to have brown, but am thinking now black.

the only thing that is bothering me is our table and chairs are a very dark brown and chairs are dark brown leather.

i want everything to match so i might have to get a cloth to go over the top of the table.

i was thinking too that the wall straight in front of you i'll put 3 pictures and maybe a really big mirror over the top of the dining table.

i've never decorated before and feel really over whelmed.

Hmmm, it's a tricky one. If it were me I would go for a brown based wallpaper and get brown leather sofas to match your table and chairs, but if you've fallen in love with the wallpaper you've chosen then I don't really know. The chairs, are they completely leather or do they just have pads on? If they are just pads you could just recover them but if they are full leather then it's a bit more difficult xx

see i was looking at wall paper that had brown, blue and silver in it.

That would make things easier to coordinate, you could go for that wallpaper, brown sofas and curtains and then blue accessories (sorry my passion is interiors ) It would go lovely with the oak floors as well and maybe a big brown rug to cosy things up? xx
