| With Libby we picked the name 2 years before we even fell pregnant (when we started ttc) but this time I really cannot think of anything I really like for a boy or girl!! I keep asking Simon and he just says wait until next week when we know what we're having but I can't see that helping Is anyone else having problems?? I know it's a long way off but it's gone so quickly so far that I can see us having the baby and not having a name picked. xx |

| It's really frustrating, my step daughter bought us a baby name book and I've had a skim through but nothing at all jumps out at me. Sometimes I'll think hmm I quite like that one but then literally seconds later go off it again xx |

| We have two names for a boy and two for a girl at the moment(that we actually agree on). I'm going to wait and see when the baby is born before I (or should I say we) decide upon a name as knowing me I will change my mind xxx |

For a boy its sorted - seth edward harry jackson And for a girl i thougt it was sorted - Camryn Annalisa Jackson - til Oh was telling his mum the names and said 'oh but the girls name isnt for definate yet'. WTF??? He knows i love that name and we agreed to it. Im leaving it til thurs now as if its a boy its a moot point but apparently if its a girl i gotta start over |

| Oh no Mario!!! I LOVE both of your names, although I couldn't have Seth for a boy because that's my bosses little boy's name and the girls name is lovely, it goes really well with Caelyn. Thats the other thing, I want the names to sound nice with Libby NayNay, 2 names each!!! I wish I could find just 1 that I like Thats a good idea Kayleigh, I think I might see if Simon will do that xxx |

| Caelyn is Sandi which looks really chavvy but its for both her grandmas - SANdra and DIanne. So i like Caelyn Sandi and Camryn Annalisa i think its nice but OH having agreed to it has now decided its not definate and im really fecking annoyed about it as i love camryn Still scan tommorrow and im about 75% convinced im coming homewith a seth so may not matter |

| We struggled, and have ended up with a girl's name that is ok, I can't particularly think of anything better, but for boy's we each have an idea the other doesn't like, so have a compromise that I'm not desperately keen on, and no middle name. OH doesn't have a middle name, doesn't see the need, so that's my problem... For Seb we used his great-grandfather's name, but we don't have any other obvious choices from family names.
We didn't really have names sorted last time either.
We found the lists that you can find online of the 100 or so most popular names by year more useful than baby name books; we concentrated on 50-100 on the list.
