Im with Alfie 24 hrs a day every day of the week and when it gets to a weekend i like Gav to spend as much time with Alfie as he can as during the week he doesnt get in till 6 and then we put alfie to bed at 7 so he hardly gets to see him.

So i come on here while alfie was asleep and when he woke up i asked gav to go and get him and play with him. he stressed out cos he ws trying to watch a film, and then said he needed some calpol (obv cos he was crying - and babies never cry!) and then took a dicky fit cos i said i was going in the bath and he had to feed him when he was trying to watch a film!!!

Then, he got a phone call off his mate andhas arranged to go shooting with him tomorrow, when were meant to be taking Alfie to his first birthday party. he said he wont be late and he'll be back in time but i dont believe him.

I just hate it how he can just bugger off when ever he wants to - even if its just to the shop for some cans. But if i ever want to do anything its like a military operation to get alfie ready etc

Tell me about it! Luke just buggers off when he wants or goes and pays cod/xbox when he wants....ive snuck upstairs now to just get half an hours peace and all i car hear is 'Terri! Terri!' and 'Mum!! Mum!!' I have Tayla 24 hours a day is it to much to ask for just half an hour alone!

this annoys me too. it's like i have Arwyn by default and if I ask my OH to take her or watch her while i do something he always asks why and what i'm doing..... then when i come back she's mine again
i hate how he only does something for her if i ask

i would be annoyed, I'm lucky my hubby insists I go and have me time when he's off work, just as well or he'd be whipped into shape, mind you it has taken 19 years to get him this way so keep trying!

They can be a nightmare!

My OH is actually pretty good. I have always just 'made' him take over with Aimee when he gets home from work. He does bath time to give me a break.

I think he finds it easier to look after her than listen to my nagging!
