He only ever takes...never gives!
He isn't in the country much as works away, and is about to move to the US for 3 years, leaves on Monday, but only got back on Friday...so went out for a meal last night with him and evil SMIL, plus 2 couples of their friends.
He pretty much ignored Izzy 99% of the time, didn't even give her a cuddle...
Then today when Dan knows I need help with the house as its the only day he doesn't work...he is off to his dads to help pack, its the same very time he is home ..always something Dan has to go and do.
Dan said he was taking Izzy cos his dad didn't get to 'see' her last night...WTF we were there 6.30 til 9pm and the other guests managed to spend plenty of time with her! I said how you going to take her when you packing? There is No way Evil SMIL is looking after her, so I said she not going - he should make more bloody effort when she is there if he cares that much!
Also you all remember the whole thing last year that they wanted us to travel by car to Sweden to see family over there!!!
Well he started again, cos Dans granddad is old - so talked Dan into going 'sometime' before Christmas.
I said there and then no way Dan, we owe MY parents £2500 because of losing that £10k at the start of the year and we have bills like electric due this month, plus xmas coming up, I said we can't afford it.
What would MY parents think of us jetting of away on holiday when we owe them so much money?!
Dan's dad has never helped us out once, I don't even mean just money, I mean nothing - never done a thing for us, he was and always has been a useless father, and is just as useless as a grandfather.
Sorry about that rant! Just pissed off that I am at home as usual doing the housework while Izzy naps.
