And I can't be driving myself nuts for three more months I've been told I'm 'neat but big' (wtf - is that possible?!) also that 'ooo, you've put on weight' (tounge in cheek?! I don't know - was typed) and hubby declines to comment as, to be fair, he can't really win. I'm a bit bigger than this stage of pregnancy with bean but I put that down to my stomach being stretched from having a baby to 41+1 only 20months ago - oh, and the fact that morning sickness this time was bloody awful so I again lost weight, and may have made up for it bit more than I "should" have... spd is also meaning I can't walk far/long/pushing pram. I'm sure bump is higher up and my stomach etc. have got shoved up higher + sooner this time too. When pg with bean I took a bump pic every week and weighed myself quite regularly (the days when we could have bathroom scales out...) whereas this time I've taken maybe 5/6 bump pics total and prob only weighed myself once in the past couple of months (since starting to pick up weight gain again after sickness stopped about 14wks). So maybe it's a case of longer time gaps making it seem like more gain?! Oooo errr. Sorry to moan on - just though a vent of some steam may help me realise I'm being daft, taking comments to heart and generally being mardy are not going to help me at all!

Aw hun, from the pic you posted the other day I thought your bump looked a perfect size!! I know what you mean though, before I had Libby I was a size 6 (or 11/12 year old clothes) and weighed 6 1/2 stone (not healthy though - somedays only eating an apple a day and abusing laxatives). When I went back to work alot of clients commented that I wasn't as 'slim' anymore or people said to Simon that I had put on alot of weight - I was actually a size 10/12 then Don't listen to them hun, you are pregnant - enjoy it as it just goes sooo quickly

Aww dont be hard on yourself. As you have said this is your 2nd pregnancy. Ignore other peoples comments you are pregnant and if that isnt a good excuse to indulge i dont know what is. I was exactly the same, got pregnant again very soon and seemed to be bigger and higher up. Please dont worry you have plenty of time to think about weight after baby is here x

Before getting pregnant I had started to work my arse off (literally) and lost about 3/4 of a stone - just cutting out snacks and walking more (taking the hilly routes!) I never thought I'd give a toss about my body & weight during pregnancy to be honest, especially just being to glad to face the thought of food again - but I'm also worrying that feeling bigger is going to = bigger baby = harder birth Is it more of a second+ time worry do you reckon?! Cos I've just looked at pics from 35-40ish weeks and I forgot how big I am gonna get

Yeah maybe hun, I didn't bother going on a diet after Libby was born because I can't go on a sensible diet - it's basically eat or not... and I wanted to get pregnant again. Honestly though hun, you really don't look big xx

Thanks Susan. 'preciate it. One thing my husband said though, more on the topic of being rather petrified of giving birth again, was 'well, you'll never have to do it again'. Now I know we've discussed that 2 babies makes good sense, 3 is a big decision etc. but that just depressed the hell out of me Poor bloke, can't win xx

Uh, people and their stupid comments! I don't understand why people feel the need to comment on your weight and tell you how massive you look, even people that have been in that situation, you would think they would know better. You can never win either, you can get told on the same day 'oh you look tiny' or asked 'is it twins in there?'. I have to say i got so sick of other people's comments i generally will now just say to pg people their bump looks lovely and leave it at that. I'm sure you look fab, and you will look back with fond memories, it's not as easy as that when you are enduring it though, is it?! The only thing i can say that may make you feel better is that i had a 8lb baby, followed by a 9lb 3, and the second birth was far easier! (and done with no pain relief) - so a bigger baby doesn't always mean a more painful birth. And also i don't think weight gain has a lot to do with baby's weight, i put on 2 1/2 stone the first time and 3 stone the second. I know huge people who have tiny babies, and tiny people who have huge babies!!

You guys It's weird though - comments that can remotely be taken the wrong way, I am sure to I think it's just the worry that if I look like I'm further than I am now, wtf will I look like in a month or two?! And all that waiting for an actual bump and showing properly eh The bumpage (a couple of weeks ago) is here btw http://www.babiesandall.com/beautiful-bumps-f33/251bump-t3735.htm Thanks again, helps to balance out the vibes xx

I think your bump looks great, people don't think when they make comments, I used to get you look like you're carrying twins, as if thats a compliment!

Every day is so wonderful And suddenly, i saw debris Now and then, I get insecure From all the pain, I'm so ashamed I am beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring me down I am beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring me down So don't you bring me down today To all your friends, you're delirious So consumed in all your doom Trying hard to fill the emptiness The piece is gone left the puzzle undone That's the way it is You are beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring you down You are beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring you down Don't you bring me down today... No matter what we do (no matter what we do) No matter what they say (no matter what they say) When the sun is shining through Then the clouds won't stay And everywhere we go (everywhere we go) The sun won't always shine (sun won't always shine) But tomorrow will find a way All the other times 'cause we are beautiful no matter what they say Yes, words won't bring us down, oh no We are beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring us down Don't you bring me down today Don't you bring me down today Don't you bring me down today

^ that's a nicer sentiment to have in my head (as opposed to simply 'raaahhh pi$$ off' ) I have also figured that this cold weather is not helping - last thing you need is extra layers and bulky coats xx
