Im sure jaiden has got some kind of exceptional memory When we went to my mums she got him a new book he heard it a couple of times then he was reading it to himself

today at nursery the teacher got the Enormous turnip story out to read Jaiden pipes up and declares that he knows the story..... We do not have it at home Granny (oh's mum) has got it in at her house I have read it to him once and that was ages and ages ago Anywya he proceeds to retell almost the entire story to the rest of his little group and got a big star for it

How would i find out if he has got an exceptional memory and what should i do to encourage it

my little sister was just like that she had a book called tatty teddy that she knew off by heart only after reading it few times!!
im not sure how you can find out about his memory but i would just say read lots of books to him and let him read lots too!
try googling it too xxxxxx

Do a google on 'gifted and talented' - and search for early years info. Careful though, there may be some head-spinning stuff it's best not to get too deep in to while he's only young!
