Tylers just started nursery - going Tuesday and Thursday for the morning (about 9 till 2)

Today was only his 3rd day.

Of the 3 days he's been there only one day has he eaten, he's being very difficult at home with his food we have to give him his own spoon and try and sneak food in... if he doesn't have a spoon in his hand he doesn't eat. Ive told them this at nursery and they still tell me he doesnt eat.

Hes going from 7 till 2 with nothing.

Do you think it's just because he's not used to nursery yet or should I be checking up on how they are trying to feed him? I know if he's that hungry he'll eat but I dont think they try and feed him again at a later point... and why would they they've got 10 other kids to look after,

I dont want to be a paranoid and annoying mum lol.

I'd definately ask how they are feeding him, it could be something as simple as the spoon issue! x

Id give it a couple days and see if he settles. Alternatively could you go in of a lunchtime and observe him here he cant see you?

mmm maybe... I think i'm going to take a fork in for him as they give grown up meals and he does know to put the fork into his mouth and take the food off it... so will tell them we are teaching him how to use a fork and hopefully he'll eat something then
