do you ever find that when you go shopping and your hungry, you end up buying a whole load more stuff that you wouldnt normally?? ending up either over spending or not gettin what you intended too??

im sat here thinking i should eat cause my tummy grumbled, even thou i have no actual hunger feelings... but simply cause i know when i collect garry at school i have to go get freezer stuffs.

or i end up buying foods that every one else eats and not gettin anything for my self!! im such a fussy eater its un real!! the oh would rather sit with a plate of waffles, beans and nuggets or something of the sort, than a full cooked meal.. i live on pasta and he hates it!

90% of the time we never eat together, he eats with the kids and i wait till their in bed... is that just me that does this?? or im making 3 different dinners!

i sometimes look at us and think.... we are not normal!

I have now done a rota, where we can all eat similar foods, and on days where my OH wants his chicken burgers and chips, I will have a chilli or spag bol (which I have already made in the slow cooker and frozen), as he hates them x

Yep I do hun. I try my hardest not to go shopping when Im hungry as I spend a fortune on stuff we dont need or shouldnt have (we are on diets) everything just looks so appealing when you're walking around a supermarket starving.

However I also have the problem that if I go shopping when I've just eaten I can't be bothered. I look at things and coz I don't fancy them there and then I don't pick them up. I end up coming home with half the stuff I went for and nothing that will actually make a meal.

Im just rubbish at shopping and I hate it with a passion.

I know what you mean!! If im full up though i walk out with hardly anything as i dont fancy it! But if im hungry i end up buying loadsa crap...then get a Mcds after lol!
Luke has told me he would prefer kiddy dinners rather than the 'proper' stuff i cook....suit yourself then! Ill sit there and eat my nice steak whist he can have chicken nuggests and chips lol!

i have never liked shopping. i just chuck in kiddie foods and get home as fast as i can !

clothes shopping im worse for... i stack up on kids stuff and look at stuff for my self and think UUURRGGHHH and walk away

i survived the shopping! with a trolley and a twin buggy   then i looked at it n thought, aaw poop i got to carry a trolley load thru the shopping centre to the car, with a twin buggy!!!  oh i did too.... one hanged trolly pulling and one handed buggy pushing... my poop should sell like gold cause im that goooooooood!!! hahahah.. actually quite pleased with my self, never had a single stressed out mummy moment

I use to be just like that..would make different meals for everyones palette...I spent more time in the kitchen than anywhere else in the darn house...till finally I had it. What I make..is what is served. If they don't damn well like it...TOO damn bad. Not only that..the amount of food that is gone to waste by making different meals. It's like throwing money out the window. I will add things to dinner that eveyone like such as a salad..some garlic bread etc.

tonight iv stuck in alphabite tattie letters, chicken kievs filled with bbq sauce and beans...... majorly exciting LOL

I shop online cause I find it so much easier! Plus when bubs arrived the OH will have it all on the computer and can just order the usual's if I have to stop in hospital!

As for making different meals I do end up doing it sometimes but not often! I am like you Laura and prefer to eat once the kids are in bed, I find I enjoy my dinner more with out the constant Mum shouts!!

Yeah def dont shop when hungry i come home with so much rubbish. We tend to buy day to day though - have tried to get in better routine and always fall back into same habit
