| Well it's less than a month until Chloe is two (how the hell did that happen??)
I'm having a very small gathering the day before with 5 or 6 little ones then family coming over on her birthday and have been thinking about what to do to entertain them
I was thinking of making some biscuits and having little piping bags and cut out shapes of fondant and sprinkles for them to decorate and maybe some arty and crafty bits
I would quite like to do pass the parcel but am wondering if they're too young, they are all around 2, what do you think, I was thinking of putting a small prize in each layer so that no-one got left out.
Any other ideas welcome |

| hmmm I dont think Izzy would understand pass the parcel...she'd try to open it or not want to pass it and then if her neighbour got the contents she'd want it too Always worth a go though - even if for adult amusement! Im cheating and just booking a soft play area....so food and entertainment will be taken care of! |

| that's my worry is that it'll go hideously wrong and they'll all start crying I did think about a soft play but it's not worth the price for the amount of people coming. Better get my thinking head on |

| We did a pass the parcel last year and Tayla and her friends loved it then! There could possibly be a few arguements over it this year though as Tays friends arent very good at sharing Last year i just had loads of toys out, like ball bits, ride ons ect. This year im hoping to do a Teddy Bears Picnic |

| A teddy bears picnic sounds great, unfortunately in February I can't do that. I wish she'd been born a few months later, so much easier planning a party when you have the weather on your side! |

| Pass the parcel will be ok, no doubt the parents will sit with their LO's anyway and they tend to guide them. We did it and it was fine. We were expecting 10 LO's so did 10 layers although only 7-8 turned up so it did drag on a bit lol. We popped a small box of raisins in each layer then the prize was a lil soft toy. Thinking of the past party that we have been too this year they have had little tables with things such as play doh, crafty stuff (such as making your own door hanger's with stickers) they have things like ball pits out, ride-ons, bubble machines etc. One of my friends emptied the paper shredder it was unbelievable how much fun the LO's had with shreds of paper |

| I'm getting there. Have got party number 1 tomorrow for kids and then family saturday, still got her cake to finish and some food to finish in the morning, house is nearly ready. Ive realised that its no cheaper to do it at home, with food, decs, party bags, cake I reckon i've spent over £200. Definitely going to hire somewhere next year |
