| as most of you will have seen Edith being a terror 2night, just keeps crying & wont settle have eliminated most things (wind, hunger, nappy) the only thing diff is a sore bum, not horribly sore and bleeding but not nice.
Now the dilemma........ i have been advised by a doc when she had cold at 1 week that its absolutely fine(her words) to give calpol under 2 months as even premmies can have it (2.5ml)
Do you think i should try a bit for her and see if it helps, i feel like i am dosing her up but i am at a loss now. |

| 2.5ml is absolutely fine hun! In work I see it all the time for 'days old' babies when they have been injured in labour (poor babbas!) With them being so small, they dony want people regularly dosing children up until theyre better developed....but a dose here and there doesnt do any harm at all xxx P.s Bepanthen for the bum....far superior to sudocrem! |

| oh, sum1 asked something similar in another post recently and they got a reply that it was ok and put up a weight to calpol ratio chart. ben got doped up with calpol whilst in the hospital and he has had it several times since due to fever, 2.5 is okay. like others said, if ur doc says its ok, then its ok |
