woohoo alfies been offered a 3 yr modelling contract with Talent Management Agency. The thing is there is a fee to pay to cover the admin > portfolios etc but it only works out £1 a week over the 3 yrs but theyve offered me 3 options: 1 year contract - £76 2 year contract - £97 3 year contract - £128 Im not sure wat to do. Whether to go for the year and see how he does and if he gets work etc.It is alot of money just before Xmas. I do have some money set aside for Alfie tho which I could use. I know Lisa & Alfie said that they went through this agency and didnt get any work but i also know someone else whos child got work within the first few weeks? Help??!!

Tough decision, I'd be wary because of what Lisa said! It's up to you though if you've had a good reccomendation then maybe i's worth it? It's a good opportunity for him but it is a lot of money if nothing comes from it, money that would be better in Alfie's bank account rather than some agency! I'm no help am I lol

I know thats what im thinking? She said he can earn anywhere from £90 to £2000 per job so if he gets at least 2 jobs in the 3 yrs it would cover it. Its a toughie! x

They have things on the news too that say any reputable modelling agency will NOT ask you for money up front... if they need fees it can come out of the work they get for you. I would be reluctant to do it hun. I know it sounds like a good deal but if they think he's going to get work then tell them to take the money out of his first job

This happened to my sister with her eldest Marissa. She was offered a modeling contract for her and they asked her to cough up quite a bit of money for her portfolio. I believe it was almost $600 CAD. She did, and never heard from them again. The only good that came from it was she got some beautiful pics from it. It's a toss of the dice. I agree with the ladies that say, if it were a reputable agency, they would never ask you for money, but would be paying Alfie(you) for the rights to take his pics and publish them.

Was just thinking the same, you can always decide to take the fee as a payment for some nice pictures and the job as a bonus if need be
