Hi ladies just wondered what you would do in this situation?

My OHs ex wife has just got engaged and I was wondering if we should send a card to say congratulations?

OH has a teenage daughter so his ex is still very much in his life, we see her to say hi most weeks, now and then pop in for a brew so she can see the kids (i know some people would find this odd but we get on fine and she likes kids, lol) and have spent days/evenings together for family occasions as she is still friends with OHs family as she was married to him for 22 years. We all get on ok and exchange xmas cards and she has bought cards and little pressies for both my kids births and birthdays/xmas.

I just wondered if sending a congrats/engagement card was a 'bit much'?? I think Ohs ex would appreciate it but am worried her new fiance would find it too weird :/ we have all met on a few occasions but they have only been together a few months and obviously don't know how he feels about her exs etc?

What do ya reckon? send a card or not?

Thanks for all your replies ladies, I will send a card in the morning. It is great that we can all be friendly now, it hasn't always been that way but I think OHs daughter finds it all a bit weird when we all together having a drink and putting the world to rights, lol. I know OHs ex will appreciate the gesture I was just a bit worried her new fiance would be completely weirded out by it but Im sure he wont.
