Thought I'd better say hello before most of you think I've fallen off the face of the earth...what's that?....you hadn't realised I wasn't about?....uh huh

Ok, in all seriousness, there has been a lot going on in my life recently and not only do I not get on the internet as much but my frame of mind hasn't been particularly great and I don't like posting when I'm like that. I have tried to read posts though, to try to keep up with things, but not many as I haven't been on long.

Sooooo....what have I missed? I have tried to log onto FB most days too so have seen snippets on there, but need to catch up really. Oh speaking of FB there's a few of you who I don't have...if you'd like to add me, feel free - Jo Cornish, pic is of Lucas.

Thanks Laura! Things are going well with A now thanks. They are definitely keeping the baby...due 12th May 2011! I have got used to the situation now. Obviously still think it's not ideal and not what I wish for my son, but there you go! Nothing I can do but support him. Also it's not my Grandchild's fault so want to be the best Grandma I can be!

TBH, and this may shock some of you, but there are worse things that could have happened. There have been other things going on in my life that have put this situation into perspective and while this isn't good we will certainly make the best of it x x

Im so glad that things are working out.

It doesnt come as a shock at all to be honest. I totally agree that there is so much worse that can happen in life than what is happening with A.

I know, if given the choice, when Aimee is a bit older, I would rather she got pregnant than if she had any more heart complications, etc.

There are so many parents out there losing their kids who are soliders that it really makes you put things into perspective.

Yes, I am used to it now Jo...I think! It will be strange with my first Grandchild being just over 18 month younger than my 3rd child!

Well, we're getting there thanks hun. Life is one big roller coaster and I'm just a passenger, so I'm clinging on during the downs and enjoying the ups. Wouldn't mind if it decides to make a stop soon tho

Awww hun, people are so harsh. I really can think of a billion things worse than your child becoming a parent at a young age. Its not idea, but at least he is healthy and the baby is healthy, that is what really matters at the end of the day.
