To put their Christmas tree up?

Iv been cleaning loads the last few days (tradition in my family-house has to be gutted for xmas!), and 2nite decided to clear a space for the tree in living room, its where Caitlins toy boxes normally are. Id planned on giving her a few days to get used to toys being in opposite corner... then I decided Id put a bare tree up to teach her not to touch it... then I decided that I should at least put the lights on & check they all working... then I thought well if iv gone that far I may aswell put a few bobbles on....

You get the idea My house is now like Santa's grotto! Stuart off work this week & staying here 2nite. He went to bed a while ago shaking his head in despair

This is mega early for me. My mum never put ours up until mid Dec. Id planned on doing it next weekend.... it just kind of happened. Stuart says we going to have to keep the blinds closed for at least a week or else ppl will start talking about us

i usually put mine up 12 days before xmas but will wait till at least the 1st december and try hold out a few more days after that
i have been putting off going into loft to pull out decos to make sure all lights work and to see what needs replaced or generally updated as i know i would just put them up
chrimbo lights up town go on on the 27th so imagine several houses will start then
a girl on my facebook put all hers up last week ! x

We so ours in dec as I get fed up with it after a while. I don't even think we're going to have in our main living room as between ellie and two pussys I don't think it'd survive. So we'll just a nice one with lights on in the front window. I do love it all though.

I put mine up on the 1st december every year xx

I will probably put mine up the second weekend in December - let Aimee get a chance to spend some time with baby before we shock her with even more changes.

Ours will prob go up a week before Christmas.
We have a big pouf in the corner to keep Flick away from the plugs so will prob put it behind there xx

Well I survived my first day with a toddler and a Christmas tree!

Had to tell her no a few times this morning but she didnt go near it again all day. She is more interested in the teddy santa's & snowmen which I dont mind her playing with - though why is it the harrods one she insists on feeding her btl to and not the tesco's ones

Am a bit embarassed about neighbours thinking iv gone mad but oh well! It was Caitlins idea

Im ruining Christmas for myself really. I wanted to start wrapping presents tonight - I only have my granda, one friend and the banda SS left to get. Im stopping myself so that I have something Christmassy left to do in December. Caitlin even going to see Santa tomorrow night
