Just wondering when you lot are putting your decs up? Before we had Libby we were really bad and only put them up the weekend before xmas and would take them down again on boxing day (i hate the cluttered look ) Libby's first xmas we did the same because she was only 6 weeks old and last year we were gutting the bungalow between October and March so we were living in a shithole and xmas didn't feel right.

This year though, Libby's alot more aware, the bungalow is finished and I've handmade most of the decorations so I'm really excited about putting them all up but don't know when (I'm thinking maybe 5th December)

will prob do ours 1st week of December. i think we will have to tie the tree to something because ive got a feeling it will horizontal on the floor more than once thanks to Cerys xx

You might be surprised, Libby was 13 months last xmas and she wasn't interested in the tree at all. xx

I think I will put ours up on the 15th. Thomas's birthday is 14th and I want to keep his birthday seperate from christmas as he grows up. I did say this last year too but didn't manage to last that long so we will see, lol.

Thomas was 12 months last Christmas and was walking and I did worry he would be wearing the christmas tree a lot but like Libby wasn't interested.

Susan - What handmade decs have you done hun? Any ideas welcome - I would love to make some of my own.

I'm at work at the moment but when I get home later I'll take a pic of them, they are all out of felt and I'm going to a few bits to with them (baubles mainly).

Were gonna put ours up the 1st weekend in dec has ohs got a week off and will get time to do it then x got funny feeling callums gonna love pulling it down he was only 5months last year and was pulling all my balls off x

We doour whne my mum finishes work, usually around the 20th!

Were decorating Ollie on the 1st though

Im thinking of the last sat in Nov, 27th I think. Thats 2 weeks away. Need to deep clean the house 1st though & have no motivation. The 4th of Dec at the latest! We always keep ours up unttil 3/4/5th of Jan. I dont understand the point of going to all the effort and only keeping them up a week or 2.

im not puttin mine up prob week before xmas, then i bring them down before hogmany!! my living room is tiny and jst has no space for a tree so i try and get it up n down as quick as i can lol, will mayb put it up a lil earlier for evans sake not sure

I am putting mine up around the middle of the month

Isabelle is seeing santa on the 18th so I'd like them up just before that

Probably the weekend of the 12th, it's my birthday on the 11th so maybe the Sunday if I can wait that long

Well we've decided on the 10th or around then anyway, I just know if we put the decs up any earlier we'll be sick of the sight of them xxx

We will most likely put ours up the 1st weekend in December, its our first christmas that we have spent in our own house, lived here 2 years and have gone home both times before, we will be having Xmas lunch for two (well 3) aswell. xx

I'm so ridiculously excited already that it'll have to be the 1st of December! Hubby's having none of it but me and Stephen will have them up whilst he's at work

Cos Olivers a December baby I always vowed that his birthday would be kept separate from xmas, but tbh it doesn't matter..we still put our xmas tree up in the 1st week of December (although not sure this year as Moo's having his party at home so lots of little kiddies running about ) Arh, we''ll see.

There is 2wks between his birthday and xmas day so they are still very seperate occasions and always will be
